Quality Assurance

Northern New Mexico A&E Group (NNM A&E Group)’s QA program has been approved by LANL Quality Assurance Division (QAD) and is on the Institutional Evaluated Suppliers List (IESL) on provisional basis.

NNM A&E Group endorses the application of Quality Management and recognizes the role of a coordinated quality assurance management program in the performance of NNM A&E Group activities.  NNM A&E Group has selected the national consensus standard ASME NQA-1 to be the basis for the development and implementation of the NNM A&E Group Quality Assurance Program. Due to the stringent requirements of our QA Program, we will meet or exceed the criteria and guides set forth in this RFQ.

Direction provided in this program satisfies the requirements of ASME NQA-1 2008: Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications.  The program also meets the criteria of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 830, Subpart A - Quality Assurance Requirements; and DOE O 414.1C: Quality Assurance.

NNM A&E Group Corporate management is responsible for the development and implementation of an effective Quality Assurance Program.  NNM A&E Group Project management bears the responsibility for the achievement of quality.  In turn, each NNM A&E Group member employee is responsible for the quality of his/her work. All employees are trained to the QA Program, which is implemented on a sliding scale for all tasks.

The requirements of this document apply to NNM A&E Group projects to the extent specified either by the scope of services of a given contract or by the direction of corporate management as determined necessary for the assurance of quality.

Full authority and organizational freedom are provided to the NNM A&E Group Quality Assurance Manager to identify quality concerns, assist in recommendation of solutions, and verify corrective actions and direct cessation of unacceptable activities or practices that may affect the quality of any NNM A&E Group activity.
